Ⅳ. Main uses of KH550.

This product is used in mineral-filled phenolic, polyester, epoxy, PBT, polyamide, polycarbonate and other thermoplastic and thermosolid resins. It can greatly improve the physical and mechanical properties such as dry and wet bending strength, compressive strength, shear strength and electrical properties of wet state of reinforced plastics, and improve the wettability and dispersion of fillers in the polymer.

It is an excellent bonding promoter for polyurethane, epoxy, nitrile, phenolic adhesives and sealants, improves pigment dispersion and adhesion to glass, aluminum and iron metal, and is also suitable for polyurethane, epoxy and acrylic latex coatings.

In resin sand casting, it enhances the adhesion of resin silica sand and improves the strength and moisture resistance of the sand.

In the production of fiberglass and mineral wool, it is added to phenolic binders to improve moisture resistance and increase compression resilience.

In the manufacture of grinding wheels, it helps to improve the adhesion and water resistance of phenolic binders for abrasion-resistant self-hardening sand.

KH-560 is an epoxy-based coupling agent, which is used as a caulking and sealant for polysulfides and polyurethanes, as an adhesive for epoxy resins, as a filler or reinforcement thermosetting resin, as a glass fiber adhesive and as a thermoplastic resin for inorganic filler or glass reinforcement.

Ⅴ. Features and Uses

Improves the strength properties of hard composites reinforced with glass fiber roving. Maintains the strength properties to a maximum after a conditioning period.

Enhancement of the electrical properties of epoxy-based electronic sealants and encapsulants and printed circuit boards, resulting from improved adhesion between the resin and the substrate or filler.
Enhances the electrical properties of many inorganic-filled composites, including nylon and polybutylene terephthalate.

Works with a wide range of fillers and substrates, such as clay, talc, wollastonite, silica, quartz or metals such as aluminum, copper and iron.

Specific applications that benefit from the addition of KH-560 include: epoxy sealants filled with quartz, premixed formulations, epoxy concrete patching materials or coatings filled with sand, and epoxy resin materials for mold making tools and metal fillers.

Eliminates the requirement for separate primers in polysulfide and polyurethane sealants and caulking compounds.

KH-570 silane coupling agent, γ-methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane is an organofunctional silane coupling agent that enhances the mechanical and electrical properties of glass-reinforced and thermoset resins containing inorganic fillers, especially in the filling of thermoplastic resins, including polyolefins and thermoplastic polyurethanes, that are cured by reactive free radical reactions (e.g. unsaturated polyesters, polyurethanes and acrylates).

Mainly used to improve the adhesion of organic and inorganic materials, especially suitable for free radical crosslinking of polyester rubber, polyolefins, polystyrene and as an additive in photosensitive materials.

Ⅴ. Features and Uses

Use of KH-570 silane coupling agent.
(1) Significantly improves the strength of composites when they are treated with glass fibers that have been treated with a polyester-compatible surface treatment, which typically includes silane coupling agents, film formers, lubricants, and antistatic agents.
(2) This product improves the dry and wet mechanical strength of polyester composites filled with white carbon black, glass, silicates, and metal oxides.

(3) This product improves the wet electrical properties of many inorganic filler-filled composites. For example, cross-linked polyethylene and polyvinyl chloride.
(4) This product can be co-polymerized with vinyl acetate and acrylate or methacrylate monomers for room temperature cross-curing. These silane agglomerated polymers are widely used in coatings, adhesives, and sealants. They provide excellent adhesion and durability.

Ⅳ. Uses and Cautions.

Improves adhesion and increases the dry state and tensile strength and modulus, flexural strength and compressive strength of the composite. Especially the product wet state electrical properties.

Mainly improves the performance of epoxy, phenolic, melamine, furan and other resin laminate materials, also effective for polypropylene, polyethylene, polyacrylic acid vinegar, silicone, polyamide, polycarbonate, polyvinyl cyanide.

Mainly used as glass fiber finishing agent, also widely used in glass beads, silica, talc, mica, clay, fly ash and other silicon-containing materials.

Ⅳ. Uses and Cautions.

This product is a variety of silicone super softener, with its modified silicone oil to increase the affinity for the fiber, so as to achieve soft, smooth, draping, anti-static, washable, anti-wrinkle and other effects. Used in silane curing, polysulfide sealant (glue), single, two-component can be cross-linked (penetrate) silicone (polysulfide) sealant, thereby improving the adhesion to the substrate (cement, copper, glass, etc.), and curing bubble-free, light-colored system. Used for phenolic, epoxy resin, can improve the strength of the composite material and the wet state electrical properties under low-frequency conditions.
